About
Avery Pelletier just wants to perform at the Grand Ole Opera. Oh… and a collaboration with Zach Bryan would be nice too! He may have some lofty goals but he’s also got time on his side.
The Stony Mountain MB heart-throb is a mere 13 years old but already has a list of achievements that many singers twice his age would be envious of. He started singing at the age of eight and since that time has performed at Carnegie Hall and most recently, Avery won the NCI Jam competition – an all ages show that features the best Indigenous artists.
As a member of the Skownan First Nation, Avery is proud of his Ojibwe heritage. And he’s a busy kid. You can find him singing with the Manitoba Indigenous Youth Choir. He’s also a skilled hockey player and a favourite when singing the National anthems of the home team Winnipeg Jets and Blue Bombers.
Avery will pay tribute to one of his favourite artists when he releases a modern version of “Lovesick Blues” by Hank Williams in February.
