Atomic Ranch Records, in partnership with Symphonic Distribution, is an independent record label dedicated to nurturing and promoting artists in Canada and beyond. Founded in 2023, the label was conceived by Chris Burke-Gaffney (aka CBG). Over a 40-year career in music, CBG has developed Canadian superstars MacKenzie Porter, MacMaster & James, Chantal Kreviazuk and many more. He is an award-winning producer and musician who continues to perform regularly with classic rocks bands Harlequin, The Pumps & Orphan.

Determined to release the last album by his musical partner and friend Vince Fontaine, who passed unexpectedly, Chris partnered with Warner Canada to release Code Red by Indian City. The record included profile guests Jim Cuddy, Chantal Kreviazuk and Don Amero, and was nominated for a Canadian Juno.

Atomic Ranch Records merges Manitoba storytelling and contemporary music production with a deep respect for cultural identity. In its first two years, its launched emerging Indigenous artists Catie St Germain, Daniel Desorcy, Ali Fontaine and the new Indian City, featuring Vince Fontaine’s daughter, Gabrielle. Each artist being recognized with multiple awards and milestones.
